Going NEON!

so that's the theme for our acquaintance party this first semester. And I have no idea what to wear! Seriously, If you check my closet, my clothes are not that colorful. I mostly prefer neutral hues on my clothes, if not neutral, I prefer warm colors like- red, brownish-orange, blue, bit darker of red-violet, bit dark of bluish-green-- colors like that b'coz they are easy to pair with and I like how those colors match with everything I wear, and also to my body and skin color, just perfect! But speaking of NEON colors,  I don't have much idea or knowledge about what to wear or pair with NEON colored clothes, but I like NEON colors, thought the color is too bright it gives a happy aura/feeling. or like you feel good about yourself when you wear NEON colored-clothes, also I feel hyper when I see those NEON colors. haha. I don't know why, but that's just how it is:)
I found these pictures in lookbook, I was looking for any inspiration on NEON colored outfits, and these pictures are absolutely fab! :D
I want to do these make up!

ArtPetron: Lakbay Pinoy -- To join or not?

To join or not? Lakbay Pinoy is the theme for the Vision Petron contest this year. And yesterday, the Vision Petron group came to our school and launched this. I got lucky for attending the launching, I got a souvenier! Haha! At first, I wasn't really intending to join, but yesterday after the launching, it kept on going over and over in my head wether to join or not. But there's a part of me, deep inside me that I want to join. But the other part of me says I shouldn't, because in my head, I'm thinking, maybe my entree will not be as good as the others, my works won't be appreciated or noticed, or I simply just can't do it.
I always wanted to join Art contests, I always look up to those students in AUP that joins this contest, and they get fortunate that they even got a price! I'm already in my second year college and I still have not experienced this kind of things, and if you look back, when I was in my freshmen year, I told myself I would join when I turn second year, but there's something hindering me, I'm thinking I lack the skill to join this contest. So you might think that I'm such a pessimistic person, but I'm trying to change that attitude of mine. Honestly, I still can't decide. I still have no idea what category should I join, if in painting, I still have no idea what to paint. I hope God will help me and give me ideas, I will update you on monday! ciao!

Johnny Depp is in my tshirt! :D

Yes! He is! ----
I love this vintage shirt! Haha! Got lucky in the ukay-ukay back in my place, Masbate! This is why I so love vintage/thrift shops, I always find something unique in a very reasonable price! If you haven't tried thrift-shopping, I think you probably should try this. It's worth all the money and time. I assure you that :)

First friday. First Starbucks-- AGAIN. First semester 2011.

This is the first friday this semester. And I also had my first starbucks, AGAIN this semester. LOL. haha.

I remembered, when the barista there in starbucks asked for my name, he thought it was "san-chai", the character in Meteor Garden way back 2005 I think? Haha. It was funny, coz I pronounced it 2 times and he kept on saying "san-chai". I missed staying for hours in starbucks. I just love the aura and the friendly baristas  in starbucks, I used to go there during weekend and just study or bring my laptop. And the starbucks in Paseo de Sta. Rosa will always remain special to me because of "something". haha. It's a secret that I'm the only one knows. Have a great weekend everyone!

First day of school, Already in second yr college, same place, same faces, same food!

I know I'm being ridicule about the title, but it's true! haha.Yes, I'm already in second yr college, and I feel so old when someone(esp. freshmen students) call me "ATE SHINE", it's so-- nakakapanibago. Last year I was a freshmen and I don't know anyone in this campus, and right now, immediately I'm a Sophomore! You know that feeling when you're already in the sophomore year, wether in highschool or college, we ought to think like-- "yes! 2nd year na ako!"  It kept me thinking, what's the big deal about it? Does it mean that if your on a higher year level, it means your more supreme than the freshmens? Honestly, I also don't know and I'm "feeling" that right now, and it does feel good though. HaHa. Even though I'm already a sophomore student, I still don't know a lot of people in this campus, because I'm not that talkative nor friendly, I guess? Anyway, atleast I have good friends here, and I want to keep them.

Saturday night-- EASTWOOD bazaar = SHOPPING!

Have I told you that I also love bazaars/tiangge's? Yes, speaking of my great love for thrift/vintage boutiques, I also love love bazaars!

BAZAAR-
is a merchandising area, marketplace, or street of shops where goods and services are exchanged or sold. The term is sometimes also used to refer to the "network of merchants, bankers and craftsmen" who work that area. The word derives from the Persian word bāzār, the etymology of which goes back to the Middle Persian word baha-char (بهاچار), meaning "the place of prices".Although the current meaning of the word is believed to have originated in Persia, its use has spread and now has been accepted into the vernacular in countries around the world. In North America, the term can be used as a synonym for a "rummage sale", to describe charity fundraising events held by churches or other community organizations, in which donated, used goods, such as books, clothes, and household items are sold for low prices, or else the goods may be new and handcrafted (or home-baked), as at a church's Christmas bazaar.

You can also find fab stuff in bazaars at low prices. Though there are "some" bazaars that still have high-price, but sometimes, that price is already cheaper than the mall-price or even in online shops.
Anyway, we went to eastwood last night, since we already brought the car here in manila, me and my brother were roaming around Q.C up to Pasig City, then after we picked-up her gf from work, we ate dinner, and went to eastwood. It was all fun, atleast having your own car wouldn't cost you a lot of money and time, rather than riding on a taxi and pay a very high price! Imagine, "uupo ka palang sa taxi 40 pesos agad!"
Ate Pat, accompanied me to the bazaar, though I didn't buy much, the bazaar was quite cheap! There was a shoe stand there, and i just love their shoes, very fab! Prices range not more than 1k, the studded heels I saw were only 700! I wanted to buy it, but in the end I didn't, I just bought the fringed- ankle boots with heels, bought it at 750! and I also got this cute-vintagey robot ring and vintagey shirt! hihi! I lalalabit! <3 Can't wait to go for another bazaar-marathon soon!

(sorry for the low quality of the pictures. I only used the webcam of my lappy)

So, I GOT MY LAPTOP BACK :D

Yes! I got grounded last week(because of my stupid-headedness), so I just got my laptop back. Yey for me! It made me realize how much I can't live w/o my laptop and cellphone xD .. I've been obsessing on vintage clothes, shoes, especially bags, signature bags! GAH! I totally have to control this obsession since I have to save money to buy my own DSLR camera! Can't wait to get those babies on my hands! :D Starting on monday, JUNE 13,2011 I will start saving for it! Goodluck for me! And oh- classes will start on monday, so probably I won't be updating much here, and most probably I won't be always be on my "ukay-marathon" because of my busy schedule. But I hope I can go thrift-shopping again soon!
